Metrorail Subway
 Windsor Plaza is located approximately one and a half blocks from the Ballston/Marymount University Metro subway station. Proceed to the exit and take the elevator on your left to the street level in front of the Nature Conservancy building on the corner of Fairfax Drive and Stuart Street. Proceed east on Fairfax Drive and cross N. Taylor Street (N. Utah Street is one block past N. Taylor Street) and then turn right. Proceed north about 2/3 of the block towards 11th Street to the lobby entrance of Windsor Plaza.

 

 

Car
 Parking options include visitor parking with a required visitor pass, street metered parking, and nearby garage parking.

  • From 14th Street Bridge (Washington D.C.)
    Take the 14th Street Bridge and you can either exit to 110 north and follow signs for 66 West (see directions below) or:

    Follow signs for Route 27 or Washington Blvd. The Pentagon is to your right and I-395 runs parallel on your left. As you begin to exit onto Route 27 (Washington Blvd.) stay in the left lane; the right lane exits onto Columbia Pike. Go under Route 50 and enter a residential area. Turn left onto 10th Street (about a mile). Cross Wilson Blvd and 10th Street becomes Fairfax Drive. Past the Ballston Station, turn right on N. Taylor Street or N. Utah Street If you pass Glebe Road you have gone too far.
     

  • From I-95 / 395 North (points south of Ballston)
    From I-95 North to I-395 North, take the Glebe Road exit north (about 10 miles inside the beltway). Follow Glebe Road to Fairfax Drive. (about 2 miles). Turn right onto N. Fairfax Drive and turn left at Utah Street or N. Taylor Street (light).

  • From I-66 West (Washington D.C.)
    Take I-66 West from the Key Bridge in Georgetown, Roosevelt Bridge via Constitution Ave., or Route 110 North. Follow signs for I-66 West. Take the Glebe Road / Ballston exit (#71) and then turn left onto Glebe Road. Proceed south on Glebe Road and at the 3rd light, turn left onto Fairfax Drive. Turn left at N. Utah Street or N. Taylor Street

  • From I-66 East (points west of Ballston)
    Take I-66 East and exit at Glebe Road / Fairfax Drive (exit 71). The road you exit onto is Fairfax Drive. Stay on Fairfax Drive and cross over Glebe Road (do not turn left or right). Turn left on N. Utah Street (2nd intersection after 2nd light) or N. Taylor Street (3rd light).

 

Airplane [top]

There are two nearby airports, Ronald Reagan National Airport (10-15 minutes by car) and Dulles Airport (30 to 40 minutes by car).

 

  • From Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) via Metro Subway
    Take Metro Blue line in the direction of Addison Road to the Rosslyn Metro station. Transfer to the lower level to the Orange Line in the direction of Vienna. Travel past four stops to the Ballston/Marymount University Metro stop. Exit from the north side of the station towards Fairfax Drive.
     

  • From Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) via Rental Car
    Take Metro Blue line in the direction of Addison Road to the Rosslyn Metro station. Transfer to the lower level to the Orange Line in the direction of Vienna. Travel past four stops to the Ballston/Marymount University Metro stop. Exit from the north side of the station towards Fairfax Drive.
     

  • From Dulles Airport (IAD) via Rental Car
    From the rental car location, exit the airport towards Washington, D.C. on the Dulles Airport Access Road. Travel for 16 miles and continue onto I-66 East for approximately 3.5 miles. Exit at Glebe Road / Fairfax Drive (exit 71). The road you exit onto is Fairfax Drive. Stay on Fairfax Drive and cross over Glebe Road (do not turn left or right). Turn left on N. Utah Street (2nd intersection after 2nd light) or N. Taylor Street (3rd light).
